Monroe AYSO is the largest youth program in Monroe. Every weekend during the Spring and Fall, many of our children are playing Monroe AYSO soccer.
AYSO was founded over 40 years ago. Today over 750,000 children play AYSO soccer. We are a non-profit organization that develops and delivers quality youth soccer programs in a fun, family environment based on AYSO's six philosophies. These philosophies are: everyone plays, balanced teams, open registration, positive coaching, player development and good sportsmanship.
We are an organization that is staffed by volunteers. We believe in our children and support the town of Monroe with various contributions. If you would like to volunteer, please let us know.

Open Positions at Monroe AYSO - Division Commissioners
It is the Division Commissioner's responsibility to assign teams and coaches, schedule games, and handle the organization of divisions within the Region.
Offering young athletes Balanced Teams is one of AYSO's core philosophies because maintaining a level playing field keeps the focus on the game, having fun and developing soccer competence, not winning or losing. Every child deserves the chance to play, to gain confidence and to do so in an environment that is encouraging.
Requirements for this important job include honesty and good communication and organizational skills. If you want to make a difference for the players in your Region, contact Dan Aguilar, firstname.lastname@example.org.
One of AYSO's philosophies is the specific responsibility of the Region Registrar. Open Registration means all children are invited to play regardless of skill, experience or connections.
The Registrar is vital to the process of fair and open registration, and every Region needs a reliable person to do the job. AYSO offers orientation, BASIC (Board and Staff Introductory Certification) and Safe Haven certification, workshops and other training for every Registrar. The position requires an understanding of the registration process and the need for confidentiality, excellent organizational ability, some computer skills and a background check.
If you can take on this important volunteer position, contact Dan Aguilar, email@example.com.
The Monroe AYSO Coaching Director coaches the coaches. And good coaches make for happy players. AYSO volunteer coaches all show the same generosity of spirit to offer their time for young athletes, but have different skill levels and personal coaching philosophies. The Coaching Director keeps track of the coaches in the Region, offers training and certification, models AYSO's coaching philosophies and implements the National Coaching Program before, during and after the season.
The job of Coaching Director requires management skills, experience as a coach, AYSO Coach Certification, an awareness of the needs of the Region, an attention to detail and a desire to consistently improve the quality of AYSO coaching and the player experience.
